Let me tell you a little of our story with Canus Maximus, I was brought up with dogs of many types (my Mother was a breeder from 1961 until a few years before her passing in the mid nineties) so my experience is over many years and also included numerous trips to Crufts and other shows around Britain. We have always had dogs so when we decided to get our fourth Doberman late in 2009 I started my search on the internet to find our perfect new family member. Your website was excellent, I visited many others but what you do met all of our criteria, we wanted a puppy that would fit in with our location, family and numerous grand children that range in ages from six months to twelve years old.
Knowing you had children and that the puppies were in contact with them from an early age was a critical point, knowing the care and consideration you give to the breeding was a critical point, knowing the effort you put into the medical considerations of a healthy dog was also a crucial factor. After contacting you I knew we would be having one of your puppies, if not immediately then we would wait. Fortunately you had a couple of male puppies available and their pictures immediately convinced us of our newest member to the family, few people will ever realize how much work went into helping us with all the medical requirements which were necessary to allow us to import 'MAX' to the Island (so I must thank you again for the time you spent on this).
We now have a stunning eight month old Doberman who has a great temperment, personality, loves playing with us and the kids, follows my wife everywhere and gets on well with our other three dogs, all in all we could not have wished for more. He is going to be big and strong, has no health issues and makes us laugh every single day, his training is going well and our recent house sitters commented on how well he behaves for such a young, lively dog.
Irina, you have everything right, I would highly recommend you to anyone who new about dogs and wanted a special dog for their family.

Here is Eros relaxing after playing outside in the heat. He is now 80 lbs! He has passed up our female Doberman. She is 68 lbs at 4 years old. Eros is the same height as her but much bigger!
Hi Irina......here's photos of Titan. He's a great pup and gives us lots of joy. We're curious to know if his Dominus, his dad liked to lay on his back and have his belly rubbed. I've never had a dobie like that before. He's so affectionate
and loyal. The last photo shows Titan's muddy nose. He likes to digs holes to hide his balls.

He arrived safe and sound; pretty hungry and thirsty, but otherwise perfect. We're staying at my aunt's right now in the city and he's gotten along marvelously with their three (rather rowdy) dogs; he's extremely well-behaved.

I hope your family and your dogs are doing great. Hans is growing up fast, we visited the schutzhund club (Schutzhund Village) near Charlottesville recently. I really enjoyed it. Armin seems very knowledgeable and well respected, most of the club members come from other states every weekend to train...thankfully, I don't have to go that far. They started some drive building with him, and really seemed to like him and think he has good potential. We will also begin tracking soon. There were two other dobes there from dutch lines, I believe. They were older but much smaller than Hans. Everyone was surprised at how big he was for such a young age.
I take Hans biking, he loves it and is very well behaved...even when he sees a duck. We have many biking/walking trails here so it really helps keep him in shape and well muscled. The most recent photos I have are at 7mo, I also sent them to iz Galakuna to show them what he is looking like. I added one of him playing with some dogs at the farm.
It looks like you have some great pups! It is very exciting to see the updates on new titles for your imports and your own dogs, I hope you have great success this year!

Irina, Good afternoon Irina, was just wanting to update u on Honor, we recently joined a therapy dog group here in Clearwater, FL, Paws for Friendship" and Honor passed his test to be able to go to Retirement homes and Childrens Hospitals. Again we are so Thankful for letting us get him, and every time we go out some where with him we are told repeatedly how BEAUTIFUL he is and how shinny and nice looking his coat his, his markings.
When we recieve his certificate and vest, approx 30 days I will send you a picture. I love the pic of that new German Dobie you are breeding with, very nice looking dog. Have a great day.

His favorite activities are eating, sleeping, and playing with our other dogs. He is already very protective of us, our house, and our yard. He is very happy in his new home. Irina had the dog at the vets this day. he weighed 29,5 lbs He is in beautiful condition. Taking Taylor his new name to a breeder to have his ears taped tomorrow. She is very interested in your web site. I told her after searching hundreds of web sites and talking to as many breeders you were honest trustworthy knowledgeable intelligent and furnished us with the best possible doberman. beyond that you answered all of our telephone calls and E mails.

So today is Gretel's 1st birthday; hard to believe since she is such a big girl! She and Edgar just crack me up as they wrestle around and rough-house like two small children. If one of them is bored, he or she will go up to the other and give a nip to the leg and start a game of chase! At night Gretel is quite the queen of her "castle" - she sleeps stretched out right next to me with her head laying on my back as if she is watching guard over me all night. These are just the most intelligent, loyal and affectionate pets! Thank you again for your superior breeding. Did I ever mention to you that one of our trainers said that Edgar looks like a "fine piece of Renaissance artwork?" She was just really taken by his beauty.

Just wanted to let you know "Kada" is doing great. From the day we brought her home, she ran around like she's lived here all her life. What a terrific pup...I can't wait to show her off at my dog club...I am the only dobe loyal person in the club...I bet all those rottie and shepard people will be impressed when they see her...who wouldn't be impressed with a dobe anyway...

I've seen a pup from your breeding program and was impressed not only with the outstanding beauty of the dog but the wonderful temperament she displayed as well. I have fostered and trained many dobermans in the past and am looking forward to owning one.

A quick update for you.......Drago is doing real good on his training. We are on track to go for his BH when he hits 15 months. My Training Director uses me and Drago as a demo when she has new interested people in joining the Schutzhund Club. Everybody that has seen Drago is real impressed with what he is doing for only being 9 months.
Drago is now starting to run around blinds. He has gotten to the point where the long down is no problem. He retrieves awesome. He has been going over the A-frame and jump, obviously low heights at this point. The dog has no fear. Drago has progressed to the puppy sleeve and has done a couple of escape bites. Always deep, full, calm grips. I assume Delux is that way because Drago has been that way since the first bite. Plus he has a hell of a grip.
I will send more photos of training when I get some more.

Our registered "Jewel of Pai Mei" we affectionately call Pai Mei is doing great! She loves her older sister, a Toy Manchester Terrier named Knuckles. They are non-stop playmates! Attached are two pictures of the dynamic duo.
Everyone who meets her instantly loves her. People and vets first meeting Pai Mei usually comment on her temperament and conformation to the standard and then ask for the location of the breeder knowing it wasn't a local one.
Pai Mei is very energetic, powerful and a very quick learner. It's been fun helping & teaching her to focus that power and energy.
Pai Mei also has great protective instincts. Recently we were out on a hike, when she would alert well before people were in sight or heard on the trail. She would stop and position herself between us and what she considered a threat. Nothing like the sight of this 4 month old girl posturing with chest out, hips lowered and ears moving like radar dishes tracking the source. Testing her, we would step slowly to the left or right of her, but she would vigilantly reposition herself between us and the unknown.

Forgot to tell you when I sent this picture - Ozzy is 23 inches at the shoulder and 54 pounds at 51/2 months. He also LOVES the snow. Are all dobes like that? We had 30" of snow where we live and he absolutely wouldn't come in out of it. He spent hours plowing paths and diving into drifts burying his body. The smaller dog would then follow him. It was the only way the smaller one could get through it because it was so deep. It was hilarious.

Well, here are a couple more pictures of "Ozzy". These are not that great because it was kind of dark in the room. His full name is loosely translated into "divine protector", or "fiery spear of the Gods" (Ignatius Oswald). He is obviously "I" litter and is great dog. He is only 4? months in these pictures and is 46 pounds. A beautiful boy. His training is also coming along well. He is so smart. We get so many compliments on his color and demeanor. You have great stock!

Sorry it has taken so long to send photos. Jager is doing fine. He LOVES to cuddle and I’m not real sure how we are going to manage sitting in a chair together when he grows bigger, I guess we will move to the couch. We have a cuddle time every morning and usually every night before bedtime which is around 9:00pm….he has a full day and likes crawling into his warm little kennel bed.
He just loves our other new Standard Poodle puppy named Lili…she tolerates him!! LOL They play and wrestle until they are both tired or until I am and put them in their separate kennels for a while. He loves meeting new people and dogs. All the neighbors have come to meet him and Lili….we have a neighbor almost next door who brings over a young golden retriever and they play together. There is a picture of him meeting a new neighbor friend named Louie (French Bulldog).
We just love Jager and he is spoiled.

The puppy (Siena) was so good on the way home. It took us 71/2 hours with the weather and traffic but she was a trooper. We stopped twice for her because she slept most of the way.
She is spoiled already. Everyone loves her.
She doesn't care for the cold so she runs out and then back in at night when it's real cold. It is amazing how she just follows us all around.

Sorry we missed you! He had a pretty good night and hopefully he will be house broke in no time. He really was very calm and loving on the way home, he rode in the car well. Irina, Just thought I would share some pictures of Drago. Wednesday we were in Tucson training with an expierenced Helper and Dog trainer from Germany. He lives here now.
Drago is progressing real nice. As you can see on some of the pictures he has a full grip. Not bad for only 5 1/2 months. He is growing so fast. Had to post his ears again because the left one started to fall forward ever so slightly. Better safe that sorry!

Hi Irina, I just wanted to say thank you again for this beautiful friend and to give you a update on him. On the ride back he wad perfect, just layed there and slept the whole way. Last night he slept with me nd didn't even make a peep. I washed his ears today with anti bacterial soap and rubbed them down with neosporin and I finally picked a name for him, beretta. He is also getting along with my dogs very well, except for smacking my little dog with his huge paws. I am very happy with my puppy and thank you again

Ira, Hello! how have you been? It has been some time since I last emailed you pics of Honor and thought I would send some updated ones. As you know he is 8 1/2 months and last time we weighed him he was approx 70 lbs. We both are xtremely pleased with him. As far as his training, he GREAT at the house on both hand a voice commands, basic. When we go out to the parks and beaches getting better. Since the birth of our Child, Donovan he has been more than one can ask of, not only with our child but with all of our visitors children too. He loves running after a ball and would do it til he dropped dead. Around other dogs he is great not agressive at all, even if there are balls or other toys around. Would even say he is a lil passive when another dog comes to get the ball he was playing with. It is funny he will chase one dog, if the dog is running and then if another dog goes off running he will go run after him. he does this with any dog that is running.
Also everytime we take him out, which is just about everywhere, we always get compliments on him. How good he looks, how weel is coat looks, how well behaved he is, he is the best Doberman ppl have seen. Could go on and on and on with the compliments.Thankx again for allowing us to get him from you. Hope u like the pics.

My step son got his puppy yesterday. We saw her today, and what a knock out she is! So confident, nothing fazes her, great structure and we are thrilled for him. I was so happy in how wonderful the little girl was!

We went and saw the vet today. The vet said Drago was a beautiful boy and healthy. The vet did a good examination, I was happy with it. Drago has a great personality and loves my boys. He is going to be a great dog. The vet commented on how big he is going to be. My wife, Shelly, has a picture of Delux on her cell phone. When she showed the vet Delux's picture she was impressed with the thickness of Delux. My wife has taken some pictures of Drago over the past day and a half. We will email you some in the next day or two.

We picked Drago up from the airport with no problems. He immediately came to the front of his crate when he saw my wife and I. Once we opened the crate he gave my wife all kinds of love. He is such a wonderful, adorable boy. So far he has gone potty outside only! Hopefully that will continue.

Irina - Just wanted to touch base and let you know Kash (formerly Demian) is doing fabulous! He is just over 9 months old now and HUGE. His energy never runs out! He loves having lots of room to run, loves going to daycare during the day and loves my other two dogs. I am so happy to have him in our lives.

I can not tell you how great of a dog he is, we are researching on the specifics on getting him Good Citizen qualified. Working our way up to that therapy certification at 12-14 months.

I hope everything is going well, everything is going great here. We all love Putin, he is an absolute joy. He is very well mannered for a puppy, although he has taken a special interest in shoes, mine in particular. He managed to find a pair that I had lost, so I can't complain. He currently weighs 76lbs, and is 29inches tall. He loves to play with our other doberman, but she seems to hate him. She is very hostile, but he doesn't mind, he just goes about his business. "Dallas" which we re-named "Gretta," is doing well, she is
an absolute sweetheart. I've left her home unsupervised on several occasions
(once for 4 hours) she has not destroyed or touched anything not directly given
to her; she waits patiently on my bed with her front legs crossed. I have yet to
hear her bark she does not beg or jump at all. I took her on a 2 mile jog this
morning she picked on running a leash within minutes, she's an exceptional
pet; when you said her previous owner didn't deserve her you were absolutely
right. Thanks to both you and your husband for all the help, you really know your
breed of dog, I'm amazed with your knowledge.

Hey Irina! She is doing amazing!! So incredibly smart, and she is one of the
most stubborn things I have ever seen. But I love her sooo much! She has to be
the sweetest puppy I have ever seen! She is growing like a weed, probably puts
on about 5 lbs a week. She is huge too, only a little over 3 months and is
getting close to 40 lbs. I will download the pics from my camera and send u some
ASAP. You won't believe how gorgeous she is getting. I could not have
imagined how happy I would be with her! She's amazing. Thank you so much

He's doing great today. I'm sure he was just completely out of sorts from the trip. He sure is a feisty little boy! He's outside with Jeff and Cynder right now looking for birds. He's also told me every time he needs to go "outside," so that's been fantastic.

I just wanted to send you an email and tell you how much we adore her. She is truly the neatest dog we
have ever had. She captivated our hearts from the day we picked her up at the airport. Our only regret
is not buying TWO. But....we needed to be sure the doberman breed was the right breed for us, and she
has proven that to be true. You will definitely hear from us again when we decide the time is right to
purchase another dobie.

Hey there! He is doing great! He's getting sooo big very quickly! Everywhere we go people stop us and comment on how handsome he is. He is very smart and knows sit, stay, down, come, off, wait, leave it, and many more. He has found his bark and thinks he is big and tough! He now weighs almost 25 lbs at 13 weeks! His ears are starting to stand on their own but will probably need to stay taped another two weeks. My older dog is extremely protective of Apollo and they are very very close. they never go anywhere if they arent together. Apollo loves the park but his favorite place is at my parents bc he really enjoys playing with their dogs. and he also really likes to terrorize the cat just for fun! haha Pics to come shortly. Thank you so much for our baby boy! He is everything and much more than we could have asked for. he's perfect.

He is such a sweetie pie … He really loves running all over the lot .. we had a bunch of trees taken out
on the back side of the house - so now he has that entire space to run and get his energy out …
You can tell he is growing up .. I was outside with him almost all day yesterday doing yard work and
everywhere I went he helped: he is such a baby … He loves when you have your hands all over him - just
rubbing him … It's so funny too .. because he puts his head in your crouch like Jugin use to do …
and will stand there as long as you rub him …
Here is Roscoe at going on 15 months. He is a great dog and great pal. You all did good!

Hi, Irina!
Hasana - or Annie as she's now called - is doing very well! She had her first training class yesterday and
did as well, if not better, than the other dogs who had been to prior classes. She's growing like a weed,
straight and strong with - I am certain - the world's largest feet! As we expected from her parentage, she
has a very strong personality but we correctly assumed that with exercise and challenge, she is a calm and
happy puppy. I have joked that she has more energy than any living being should be allowed! She is an
absolute joy to have in our family. She's already showing a desire to "protect her turf" and for a puppy,
has a VERY big-dog bark! It's really cute. Her worst tendency is to attack anything that resembles a tissue
or paper towel. It's very hard not to laugh at her when she is terrorizing a roll of paper towels, but we do
our best. I hope to have updated pictures to send you by next weekend - I need my husband's help because each
time she sees the camera, Annie just runs up to check it out, so I need an extra pair of hands! We absolutely
adore her - she is our baby girl - and we will do our best to send you pictures/updates from time to time.

Irina! I am sorry it has taken so long to send pics. I left my camera in Chicago
over Christmas and didn't get it back until late February!!!! Gabriel is so
much more than I could have ever expected. He is doing very well in obedience and will begin
Schutzhund training soon! And BOY is he a whopper!!!!! He's over 70 lbs
already!!!! I want to thank you again for such an amazing pup. I've been raising
Dobermans for close to 30 years and I can honestly say I have NEVER seen
anything like him before. If you should ever breed DeLux and Katana again,

Good Morning, Irina,
We wanted to let you know how well Edgar is doing in his new home; he is simply amazing and we love him to
pieces!!! He did a fantastic job on the ride back to Baltimore and shortly after we arrived he collected
the toys we had purchased for him and, one by one, took them over to his bed and dropped them there.
We all stayed up late that night welcoming him and then when it was bedtime he curled right up on his bed and
slept until we turned the light on in the morning! Amazing! He went to the vet for his check-up on
Thursday and he looked great. He will be micro-chipped one week from today and we will neuter him around
10-12 months. On Thursday while we were sleeping he actually went to the door at 1:30 am and barked to go
out and once he was out he went to the bathroom! The fact that he knew to go to the door and bark to go
out only about 24 hours after his arrival is unbelievable, we wouldn't have expected that for weeks.
Everyone at my office loves him, too - he is quite the super-star everywhere he goes. The children have
already had friends over to meet him and he gave out kisses to everyone. We will send off some pictures

and tiled our living room so that we don't have to worry about accidents! And Edan is doing great! I'll attach

Just wanted to touch base about Kash (formerly Damian). He is doing fabulous! I love him like crazy and we have a great bond already. He started puppy daycare Monday and seems to like being around the other puppies all day while I'm at work. He's exhausted when we get home. My two labs have adjusted well to him. My younger one plays great with Kash. The older guy just doesn't really pay him much mind. Kash loves my 16 year old son too! He is getting neutered tomorrow and having his dewclaws removed, he got his check up and rabies shot Saturday. He seems very happy and content with us!
Thanks for such a great puppy. I will send you photos and keep you posted as he gets older! I look forward to many many years with Kash as a part of our family.

Hosa is doing great!! We call her kira. Love at first sight. My dad
gave me her papers. She is very playfull and definatley likes to hop around. Dad told me
about her nickname, hoppy, it suits her well. You have made me a

now weighs 16lbs! Dr. lightner did an exam on her, she kept telling me how beautiful she was and well
